Rules & Regulations
The Polegate War Memorial Recreation Ground has a number of rules that must be complied with.
The top half of the field is for organised sports including cricket, stool ball, football and paid fitness classes. The lower part of the field is for informal sports. Care should be taken when organised sports such as cricket or football are being played.
Any persons organising paid sport/fitness sessions on the field must have these pre-approved and supply risk assessments (including Covid-19) and insurances prior to running sessions. (please contact facilities@polegatetowncouncil.gov.uk for further information. Fees are currently low at £10 per session).
The play area is for age 12 and under.
Please respect our neighbours – avoid kicking balls close to boundaries and anti-social behaviour. All acts of vandalism are reported to the police.
Any major injuries should be reported to pwmrgcic@polegatetowncouncil.gov.uk
